Chad Fuqua

With over 25 years of experience, Chad has had the privilege of working closely with his father and many good friends, building a career grounded in solving problems—what he sees as the core of insurance. Chad takes pride in helping clients and assembling a team of high-quality professionals.
Outside of the office, Chad enjoys spending time with his family, golfing with friends, coaching the golf team at Hesston College, and deepening his faith in Christ. Since graduating from college, Chad’s career has been rooted in the insurance industry, where he has served as both an insurance adjuster and agent.
In addition to his professional work, Chad is an active community member. He serves on several boards, including the Central Links Golf Association Board of Directors, Kansas Junior Tour South Section Chair, the Church Finance Committee, Combined Agents of America, Hesston Planning and Zoning, and KAIA Government Affairs, among other volunteer efforts.
Chad’s passion for problem-solving and helping others shines through in both his work and community involvement, making him a key part of our team.

Larry Fuqua, the founder of our agency, has been a cornerstone of our success since 1973. With a deep commitment to his clients, Larry has always valued working with individuals who have a genuine interest in their business. Beyond his dedication to the agency, Larry is an avid golfer who enjoys spending time on the course. His commitment to the community is equally impressive. Larry is currently serving his third term as a member of the Hesston City Council and is actively involved with the Hesston Resource Center, where he sits on the board and serves as treasurer.

Meet Mike, a producer and partner at Fuqua Insurance Group, who brings his passion for life and work to everything he does. When he's not busy helping our clients protect what matters most to them, Mike enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends.
An avid golfer, Mike finds joy on the green and also expresses his creativity by playing with The Blades and other musical groups. His commitment to the community is evident through his service as the president of the board for the Lindsborg Child Development Center and his role in organizing concerts for the Lindsborg Landmark Concert Series. In addition, Mike contributes his expertise to multiple boards and advisory councils in Lindsborg.

Her passion for the industry is matched by her enthusiasm for the strong, cohesive team at Fuqua. She feels that the group works well together, creating a supportive and collaborative environment.
Outside of work, Shelly enjoys a range of activities. From working in her yard to drag racing with her husband, she’s always on the move. Her passion for auctions and flea markets often goes hand in hand with her love for restoring old homes to their original glory. She’s also an avid runner when time permits and has a strong love for her animals.
Beyond her personal interests, Shelly is actively involved in her community, serving on the Newton Chamber Ambassador board. She proudly promotes small-town living and engages in local activities whenever possible.
